BEP Education is constantly exploring opportunities for partnership and collaborative working with external organisations. Few months ago we brought in Birkbeck University of London as partners with BEP.

They delivered a presentation on career paths to our young people during Barnfield Youth and Education Day. This month, we’ve again succeeded in bringing in Museum Of London as our partners. This has resulted in immediate commissioning of BEP education by the Museum Of London to take part in a Nation-wide research project - The City Is Ours. This research project will provide our young people a rare opportunity to take part in a creative research that will help them explore the city they live in, the challenges faced by young people andmostimportantly, tocomeupwithaproposalonthetypeofcitytheywouldliketohaveinthefuture - This is an exciting news!

In January 2018 we will be running an event tagged –Birkbeck Family And Community Learning. This event will cover the followings:

  1. An Introduction to University – Adults
  2. An Introduction to University – Young People

Both sessions are an interactive introduction to the benefits of university, university life and student finance.

This workshop will also cover the need to study a second language at GCSE/A level. The event will also explores strategies and ways how parents can best support their children studying at GCSE/A level and also how parents can upgrade their skills through life-long learning opportunity provided by Birkbeck University of London.
